FAQ

  • What are the requirements to receive the graduate course credit?

    You have to attend all four sessions, complete a reflection after each session, and turn in a final project at the end of the year!

  • What if I can't make it to the live session?

    No worries at all! The session will be recorded, and after the live session, the recording will be added to the course.

  • Can I join even if I'm not a high-school educator?

    Yes! We'd love to have you. Our workshops are curated for high-school classrooms, but we believe that all of our lessons can be adapted for different grade levels.

  • Can I join mid-year for the credit?

    Yes! In order to receive the graduate course credit, we just ask that you go back and complete the courses that you missed.

Meet Eqbal Ahmad ⭐️

Born in Bihar in the early 1930s, Eqbal Ahmad lived a life that criss-crossed the globe; he was a journalist, an activist, and in the words of Noam Chomsky, a “counsellor and teacher.” When asked by the journalist David Barsamian on what he tells his students, Ahmad responded: “I don’t tell them anything. I think that my life and my teachings all point to two morals: think critically and take risks.”
